An officer who recently retired from the Syracuse (NY) Police Department passed away unexpectedly over the weekend.
According to Syracuse.com , Officer Ken Albro had worked as the SRO at Fowler High School before retiring and taking a job in the Chittenango school district.
Former and current students have posted hundreds of comments on social media saying that Albro was a great man, mentor, and role model.
The Syracuse Teachers Association said on Facebook, "Staff and students alike loved Officer Albro as an amazing person with a great heart and a friendly face."
