Man Wanted for Shooting Dallas Officers Captured

Law enforcement officers in Dallas have arrested a man wanted in the Tuesday afternoon shooting of two Dallas officers and an employee at a North Dallas Home Depot.

Police arrested Armando Luis Juarez, 29, on charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and felony theft. He was taken into custody shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday after a lengthy car chase involving officers from various agencies.

The two Dallas officers are reportedly in critical condition at a local hospital. There is no word on condition of the store employee who has been described as a loss-prevention officer.

Reports of one officer's death as a result of the shooting, which were widely reported in local media and by PoliceMag.com , appear to be false. Tuesday evening Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall said she would not release the conditions of those shot, NBC DFW reports.
