Man Arrested for Shooting at Detroit Police Officer

A man has been apprehended and arrested for allegedly shooting at an officer with the Detroit Police Department earlier this week.

According to CBS News , the alleged assailant—identified only as a 30year-old man—opened fire on officers during a foot pursuit.

The suspected gunman fled the scene but was eventually located and apprehended.

The condition of the officer struck by gunfire has not been released.
