A Lincoln Parish (LA) Sheriff’s deputy was shot Tuesday morning while conducting a traffic stop on I-20.
The suspect got off the interstate and stopped. The suspect then shot the deputy.

The deputy's body armor blocked the bullet and the deputy is reported to be okay. His name has not yet been released.
The suspect has been reported dead, ArkLaTex reports.
