Los Angeles Officer Found Dead at Elementary School Identified
The Los Angeles School Police Department officer found dead on the campus of a North Hollywood elementary school over the weekend has been identified as 46-year-old Douglas Campbell.
The Los Angeles School Police Department officer found dead on the campus of a North Hollywood elementary school over the weekend has been identified as 46-year-old Douglas Campbell.
Campbell was found at about 1600 hours on Saturday. The cause of death has not yet been released by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
The department has not revealed whether or not Campbell was on duty at the time of his death.
According to KTLA-TV, Campbell joined the department in 2005. Prior to that, he served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996 to 2000.
