Little Boy Imitates AL Officer

A social media post by the Birmingham Police Department, AL, is drawing attention and producing smiles after a little boy greeted an officer while dressed in identical fashion.

The photo, posted last Friday, shows a youngster and Officer Jenkins fist bump while the want-to-be officer is wearing a matching outfit with his toy gun holstered. Both even have matching sunglasses. The child is a mini version of the officer, but with a much larger smile in the photo.

In the Facebook post, the department comments “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Never forget why you do this job, but most importantly, never forget who is watching.”
