Kentucky Officer Rescues Wayward Deer from Pool
An officer with the Lexington (KY) Police Department enlisted the assistance of a local resident in helping a deer trapped in a swimming pool to safety and onto solid ground. Video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The agency said on Twitter, "You never know what a day on patrol will bring! Watch what happened Monday morning when Officer Flannery responded to a home in a rural part of Fayette County."
After being freed, the deer vanished from view, apparently unharmed.
