A practical joker put a “for sale” sign on a Charlotte County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle earlier this month. The car was set up on the side of the road to help reduce traffic speed.

The agency reported on Facebook , “Kinda disappointed in the minimal interest in this beautiful vehicle. Despite its high mileage and idling hours, this baby has lots of life left and plenty of stories to tell... This car has been through it all and keeps on going.”
The social media post said the Charlotte County SO “got a kick” from the joke. But the agency added, “We really would prefer that you not mess with our vehicles.”
