Iowa City Police arrested a 20-year-old man and charged him in the assault of a 29-year veteran officer during a morning traffic stop earlier this month.
Police charged Branden Lee Plummer, 20, of Iowa City with the attempted murder of Sgt. Brian Krei , who has returned to duty. Sgt. Krei stopped Plummer on Nov. 18 for disrupting traffic.
