A manhunt for a suspect who shot at police in the northwest part of South Bend, IN, has come to an end, but not before an officer was shot, as was a St. Joseph County K9 and the suspect was killed.
The incident started around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, St. Joseph County Police tried to serve a warrant to Rodney Ross, 30, who was wanted in Elkhart County on drug and weapons-related charges. Ross fired, then took off.
