In Response to Starbucks Incident Black Rifle Coffee Company Donating Coffee to Law Enforcement

The veteran owned and operated BRCC’s “Coffee For Cops” campaign will donate a bag of coffee to law enforcement agencies for every purchase until July 12; up to 10,000 bags will be distributed to agencies across the nation.

In response to an incident in which uniformed Tempe, AZ, police officers were asked to leave a Starbucks shop on July 4, Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) is making a special offer to law enforcement.

The veteran owned and operated BRCC’s “Coffee For Cops” campaign will donate a bag of coffee to law enforcement agencies for every purchase until July 12; up to 10,000 bags will be distributed to agencies across the nation. Additionally, the company has a Thin Blue Line coffee, which was created to benefit law enforcement officers and their families. A portion of the profit from sales of this roast are donated to provide those in the law enforcement community with life-saving equipment and funding.

After the Fourth of July incident in Temple, AZ, Black Rifle Coffee’s CEO Evan Hafer, a U.S. Army veteran and former Green Beret, issued the following statement: “This is yet another instance where Starbucks and their employees have lost touch with decency and respect for the men and women who serve our communities."

Hafer adds,”BRCC has always supported the law enforcement community. Most of what we do doesn’t get published to any of our pages because we support the LE community, not for PR or marketing purposes, we support them because they are our friends and family. Many are the same guys that deployed with us and transitioned out of the military to work protecting and serving our communities again in a different uniform. So while our city, state and federal elected representatives vilify law enforcement for political gain, officers continue to put their lives on the line for us.”

At current and future Black Rifle Coffee Company retail locations members of law enforcement will always be welcome, and those who complain about them will be shown the door, the company says.
