Illinois Officer, Good Samaritan Pull Driver from Burning Overturned Vehicle

An officer with the McHenry Police Department was joined by a Good Samaritan and they pulled a man from a burning vehicle on Friday night.

According to CBS News , Ryan Hysell was in his tow truck when he heard a loud crash and saw an overturned car in flames near a fallen utility pole.

Hysell pulled the passenger from the vehicle and was beginning to address the driver when an officer arrived to help dislodge his leg from an entanglement.

The name of the officer has not been released.
