IACP Endorses Nomination of Christopher Wray for FBI Director

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) today endorsed the nomination of Christopher Wray to be the next director of the FBI.
“Throughout his career, Mr. Wray has demonstrated an unyielding commitment to justice and upholding the rule of law,” stated IACP President Donald De Lucca, Chief of the Doral, Florida, Police Department. “His experience working as part of the leadership of the Department of Justice, in particular his tenure as head of the Criminal Division has provided him the opportunity to work closely with law enforcement agencies. This has allowed him to gain a unique understanding of the challenges and the complexities agencies face on a daily basis in order to safeguard those they were sworn to protect.”
