“Please HELP...our officers are in desperate need of socks, undershirts, and underwear (men's and woman's). If you are in the Houston area and you can pick some up, please drop them off at your closest police station or you can drop them off at the Union Hall at 1602 State St and we will distribute.
"We know this is an extremely difficult time for everyone but if you could assist us right now, we would be eternally grateful. Thank you Houston, you have been so generous already.
"Somehow the words thank you don't seem like enough.”
