An officer with the Georgia Southern University Police Department has succumbed to injuries he sustained in an off-duty vehicle collision last week.
The agency said on Facebook , "We appreciate the kind words we have received and those who showed their support of our fellow officer Tristan Clemmons and his family as we escorted him back to Statesboro today."
