Free Animal Cruelty Investigation Training Offered to NC Officers

The North Carolina Animal Federation is presenting free animal cruelty investigations for North Carolina law enforcement officers and animal control personnel.

In this program, which begins Friday March 3 in Durham, North Carolina DOJ-certified instructors with experience in cruelty investigations in the state will take students through cruelty cases from start to finish.

Training includes, investigative principles and law application for NC statutes, writing search warrants for specific animal crimes, animals as evidence, and animal fighting and the link to other major crimes.

All sessions are free and include lunch for all attending, made possible by ASPCA. Registration is required. Register at this site .
