A Florida Firehouse Subs restaurant has donated over $10,000 worth of safety equipment to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office posted photos to Facebook Tuesday honoring the restaurant on Veteran's Boulevard at Tamiami Trail for donating eight ballistic shields, Fox 4 TV reports.
