Florida Deputy Run Over and Seriously Injured During Traffic Stop
"He ran over me," Deputy Hall can be heard saying in the video. "I need EMS. My leg's broken."

According to HCSO, early Friday morning at 12:05 a.m., the deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a black BMW.
As seen in bodycam video, once the deputy got out of his car, the suspect drove off, evading the traffic stop. The deputy can then be heard saying the “vehicle is fleeing at a high rate of speed eastbound…”
Twenty minutes later, at 12:25 a.m., the deputy, identified as Kalin Hall, 33, attempted a second traffic, and the suspect ran over Hall as he was approaching the BMW.
"He ran over me," Hall can be heard saying in the video. "I need EMS. My leg's broken," Fox 13 reports.
Hall has since undergone surgery to insert a rod into his leg after being hit by the driver. He also sustained a fracture in his other ankle, but HCSO said in a Facebook post that he remains in "good spirits."
He was released from the hospital Saturday July 6.
"Deputy Hall's anticipated full recovery brings immense relief to all of us," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "His dedication to Hillsborough County is immeasurable, from his outstanding contributions within the HCSO K9 unit to his vigilant efforts in DUI operations. He embodies our commitment to keeping the community safe."
Hillsborough County investigators are working to develop charges on the driver who reportedly struck Deputy Hall.
