Osceola County Sheriff's Deputy Edeania Nettles, 39, was arrested and suspended last week after allegedly punching St. Cloud Police Officer Jennifer Hoyos, 26, at a park. Deputy Nettles encountered Officer Hoyos with Sgt. Elbert John Nettles at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Ted Broda Memorial Park.
After punching her in the face, the off-duty deputy pulled Officer Hoyos from her patrol car. The two women grappled, and Hoyos had a skinned knee, bloody lips, a clump of hair pulled out, and scratches on her neck, reports WFTV .
On Thursday, Hoyos requested a stalking injuction against Nettles, reports the Orlando Sentinel .
