DC Metro Officer Dies of Medical Emergency While On Duty

An officer with the Washington DC Metro Police Department reportedly died Monday after suffering a medical emergency while on duty.

According to the Washington Post , the emergency was not related to COVID-19.

The officer—whose name has not yet been released pending notification of family—was a 23-year veteran of the agency.
