A man serving life behind bars for a quadruple murder is back in custody after a brazen escape from a Michigan prison late Sunday, reports The New York Daily News .
Michael David Elliot, 40, abducted a woman and stole her car before she managed to get away in Indiana, authorities said. On Monday, he ditched the woman's red Jeep in Shipshewana, Ind., and was later arrested following a car chase in LaPorte County, WNDU-TV reported.
