“End of Watch IPA” is on tap in honor of Yale Police Officer Gregory Swiantek, who died on duty March 12 after a massive heart attack believed to have been brought on by multiple high-stress calls he was responding to that day, WTNH reports.
Sean Gavaghan, manager of BAR, has known Swiantek for years. He told News 8 that the proceeds from this beer will support Swiantek’s family, including his 10-year-old daughter, Remy.
They’ve done this before at BAR, including for Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier, to support the families during a difficult time.
