CO Deputies Rescue 2 Women from Car Crashed in Reservoir

Two women were rescued by Arapahoe County (CO) Sheriff’s deputies after accidentally driving their car into the Cherry Creek Reservoir Saturday.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. when the driver mistakenly went down a boat ramp on a foggy night, KDVR reports.

In the dispatch call the women tell first responders they can’t leave the car because they don’t know how to swim.

When deputies arrived, they went into the water to get the women to safety.
