Chicago Officer Struck and Dragged by Vehicle at Traffic Stop

An officer with the Chicago Police Department was struck and dragged by a vehicle at a traffic stop on Wednesday night.

According to the Chicago Tribune , police said a four-door sedan struck an officer and dragged him some distance before the officer was released from the car.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital and was listed in fair condition.

The driver fled the scene and remains at large.
