Ten months into Fiscal Year 2019 (October 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019), officials with the Customs and Border Patrol working at the nation’s more than 300 ports of entry have seized more than 91,900 pounds of cocaine, 2,292 pounds of fentanyl, 65,400 pounds of methamphetamine and 4,500 pounds of heroin.
The agency released a summary of all its seizures on the CBP website on Tuesday, including currency seizures ($59,515,570) and the number of individuals who have been convicted of crime—whether in the United States or abroad—the agency has arrested (1,825).
