A man is facing an impaired driving charge after police say he showed up at a police station in Mississauga, Canada, to prove to his friends he wasn’t drunk, reports the Mississauga News .

Trevor Taylor, 39, was charged with excess blood alcohol in connection with the strange incident that occurred about 3 a.m. Aug. 1.

Police say the man showed up at the police office on Dixie Road "to prove to his friends that he was not impaired."

He was given a sobriety test and was later charged.
