Two men are accused of robbing an undercover Santa Rosa, California police officer at gunpoint during an undercover operation Tuesday on the southeast side of the city, police said.
According to a news release issued Wednesday, Ulises Vera, 25, of Bakersfield, and Manuel Cardenas Jr., 28, of Fresno, were arrested on a number of charges, including suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, robbery and, for Vera, assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
