California Police Searching for Man who Reportedly Stole an Officer's Squad Car

Police in San Jose, CA, are reportedly searching for 40-year-old Andrew Trujillo, who is suspected of stealing an officer's patrol car— while in custody—according to KGO-TV .

Police say Trujillo was handcuffed in the rear seat of the patrol car when he somehow escaped and drove off in the stolen squad car.

The cruiser was later found abandoned, with all the weapons in the car accounted for.

Police say they were initially questioning Trujillo in connection to a possible stolen semi-truck incident.
