California Officer Injured in Vehicle Collision

An officer with the Santa Ana Police Department was injured when his patrol vehicle collided with another car in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Orange County Register , the officer was responding to a pursuit at the time of the crash.

The officer—whose name has not been released—was transported to a nearby hospital, as was the driver of the other vehicle.

Neither individual's condition was released.
