A California man is facing federal charges after allegedly pointing a laser at a Riverside police helicopter.
According to the Los Angeles Times , the incident took place in 2015.

Ronnie Ruben Kaplan Jr. became the subject of an investigation after police traced the source of the laser to a home.

Ronnie Ruben Kaplan Jr. became the subject of an investigation after police traced the source of the laser to a home.
A federal grand jury indicted Kaplan in November 2018. Authorities searched for Kaplan for several months before capturing him.
Kaplan faces up to five years in federal prison.
