California Legislature Passes Resolution Dedicating Freeway to Fallen Officer

The California Legislature late last week approved a resolution that will officially dedicate a five-mile stretch of Interstate 5 to Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona , who was murdered in January 2019.

According to the Sacramento Bee , the stretch of road in Colusa County passes through Corona’s hometown of Arbuckle, California.

Corona had responded to a minor traffic collision when she was approached by a man on a bicycle who shot her several times.

The gunman fled to a nearby home where he was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
