The city council in Colton, Calif., is gathering cost estimates for the purpose of possibly outsourcing police, fire, code enforcement and animal control services, reports the San Bernardino Sun.
The move means the city could potentially seek a contract with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department for law enforcement services.
