Calif. Woman who Cut Off Husband's Penis Could Face Life

A Garden Grove woman charged with cutting off her husband's penis, after drugging the man, will undergo a psychiatric evaluation before entering a plea in the case.

Catherine Becker, a 48-year-old real estate broker, was apparently angry with her husband over an "inappropriate relationship" and told investigators her husband "deserved it."

The husband told police he awoke Monday evening with his arms and legs tied to the bed with nylon rope. The wife allegedly then severed the man's organ with a 10-inch knife, throwing it in the garbage disposal, and turning it on. She then called 911.
