Burglary Suspect Reportedly Shoots Fire Extinguisher at Hawaii Officer

A burglary suspect reportedly shot a fire extinguisher at an officer with the Honolulu Police Department late last week.

According to the Star Advertiser , a 27-year-old man broke into a hotel room occupied by two men and a woman, who reported the intrusion to police.

An officer who arrived to investigate was then allegedly assaulted when the suspect discharged a fire extinguisher at the officer, according to Honolulu police.

It was unclear if the officer was injured or if the suspect was apprehended.
