El Paso mass shooting Survivor Christopher Grant attempted to deter the shooter by chucking soda bottles at the gunman, but was then shot near his rib cage, he told CNN . He then ran to the auto department of the store, where he met his “guardian angel.”
CBP officer Donna Sifford helped tend to Grant’s wounds and got him to safety and medical care. “She was there for me. She never left my side,” he said.
