Officers with the Gloversville (NY) Police Department received on Wednesday afternoon a donation of face masks and hand sanitizer from Axon.
According to ABC News, Axon supplies the department's body-worn video cameras and donated the personal protection equipment so that officers can continue to more safely conduct their work through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Gloversville Police Department posted a thank you message to its Facebook page, saying, "The City of Gloversville Police Department would like to thank Axon US Enterprises for their generous donation of masks and hand sanitizer."
The social media post concluded, "The City of Gloversville Police Department utilizes Axon Body Worn Camera, and Axon has sent these items in support of first responders who are working through the COVID-19 pandemic."
