Australian Police Called Over Man Attempting to Kill a Spider

A person passing a home in a suburb of Perth called police after hearing a screaming child inside with a man yelling "Why won't you die?"

According to BBC News , police arrived to the scene and discovered that the only creature in physical jeopardy was a spider.

Police said on Twitter—in a post that has since been deleted—there had been no injuries during the incident "except to spider."
