The Austin police chief has begun an investigation of an officer-involved shooting of an 18-year-old in the Texas capital that was partially captured on a patrol car's video camera, the American-Statesman reports.
Police Chief Art Acevedo also confirmed the video camera in a second patrol car wasn't running, as he announced his goal of completing the investigation in no longer than 90 days. Community leaders have also questioned why the body of 18-year-old Nathaniel Sanders II lay at the scene for nearly six hours.
