A suspected arsonist set fire to the home and car of a Watkinsville (Ga.) Police Department officer while he and his girlfriend slept, AJR.com reports.
The fire was reported at 3:47 a.m. in the neighborhood just south of Athens at the home of William Horton, who was well known as a police officer in the area.
