Arkansas Officer Injured, 2 Suspects Dead in Officer-Involved Shooting

Two suspects were killed and one officer was left wounded in an incident following a vehicle pursuit that ended in West Memphis, AR, on Wednesday night, according to Fox-13 News .

Officials said that the shooting started when two people injured a West Memphis police officer, apparently by striking him with their vehicle.

The man and woman occupying the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital where he was reportedly treated and released. The extent of his injuries has not yet been disclosed.
