Arizona Officers Come to Aid of Hurricane Evacuees

Last weekend officers of the Avondale (AZ) Police Department came to the assistance of a Florida family that had evacuated west from Hurricane Irma and needed food, gas for their vehicle, and shelter.

The agency reported on Facebook that its officers along with Angels on Patrol, Walmart, and Crisis Response were able to provide the family with the basic needed items and a place to stay for a couple of nights.
