An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer was injured this morning in a crash that involved a tractor-trailer rig in the eastbound lanes of I-10, reports the Arizona Daily Star .
The officer was trapped in his patrol SUV, but was extricated and has been upgraded from serious but stable condition to good condition at the hospital, DPS officials said.
