An officer who was fired by the Euclid (OH) Police Department after he was charged with domestic violence can return to work with full back pay following a ruling by arbitrator Michael Paolucci.
According to ABC News , Patrol Officer Donald Ivory was fired in July 2018 after he was charged with assault, aggravated menacing, and domestic violence in an incident that allegedly occurred in April of that year.
The woman said she was "assaulted, bitten, and choked' by Ivory during the incident but Paolucci concluded the alleged victim was "lying about everything."
The city has 30 days to decide whether to file an appeal.
