Another Missouri Officer Charged with Assaulting Undercover Officer

Another police officer has been charged with civil rights violations in the alleged beating of an undercover officer with the St. Louis Police Department during a protest in September 2017.

According to KMOV-TV, a federal grand jury charged 42-year-old Steve Korte with civil rights violations and providing false statements to the FBI.

Four other officers—Dustin Boone, Christopher Myers, Randy Hays, and Bailey Collette—were indicted in November 2018 on charges that include deprivation of constitutional rights, obstruction of justice, and perjury.
