Amish Buggy Crashes Into N.Y. Deputy's Cruiser

Four young Amish adults were charged with illegally possessing alcohol Sunday evening, after their buggy collided with a Chautauqua County (N.Y.) Sheriff's patrol car.

The buggy flipped in the crash, which resulted in a minor injury to one of the buggy's passengers, reports the Buffalo News .

Deputies said they found several containers of alcoholic beverages in the buggy that flipped and in another buggy that stopped at the scene of the crash. Several other buggies fled the area, deputies said.
