Alabama Officer Injured Protecting the Scene of a Vehicle Collision

An officer with the Huntsville (AL) Police Department was reportedly injured as he was attending to a traffic collision on Monday night.

According to WHNT-TV , the officer was in his patrol car working on paperwork when his vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle, then a second vehicle struck the first vehicle.

The officer—who has not yet been identified—was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
