5 Reportedly Drunken Homeless Men Attack New York Officer

When five reportedly intoxicated homeless men attacked a police officer at a New York City subway station, the officer used his baton to battle back, defending himself against the assault.

A witness named Jaheim Eaddy told WPIX-TV , "He was defending himself, backing up with his night stick."

Eaddy added, "He could have taken out his gun and shot all of those people, but he handled it very well and he backed up instead of engaging."

According to reports, nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
