Officers from the Village of Mount Pleasant (Wisconsin) Police Department were dispatched to a 911 hangup last week and discovered the caller was a 4-year-old boy who was angry at his mom.

When Officer Rachel Gardinier and Officer Francesca Ostergaard arrived at the home, the boy said his mom ate his ice cream and needed to go to jail for it.

A day after taking the 911 hangup call Officer Rachel Gardinier and Officer Francesca Ostergaard came back to the little boy's home with ice cream.

When Officer Rachel Gardinier and Officer Francesca Ostergaard arrived at the home, the boy said his mom ate his ice cream and needed to go to jail for it. After they spoke with him about it, he told them he no longer wanted her to go to jail and just wanted some ice cream, the department said on Facebook.
The officers left.
They came back the next day to surprise the little boy with two cups of ice cream.
