Three people have been charged with attacking a trio of Chicago police officers and locking them inside a South Side Englewood neighborhood home Monday afternoon, according to FOX News Chicago .
Anthony Guglielmi—Chief Communications Officer for the Chicago Police Department—said in a Tweet that "Englewood officers @ChicagoCAPS07 demonstrated incredible professionalism and restraint after being struck by a 2x4, locked inside a home and physically assaulted following the attempted arrest of a woman who spit on them. 3 people are now arrested and charged."
