Officers identified 68-year-old Alfred Miron, of West Boylston, as someone who had a no trespassing order filed against him for that same property, reports
NBC10
When the officers asked Miron to exit his vehicle, police report he put the car in reverse and slammed into a patrol vehicle.
Police say Miron then put the vehicle into drive, dragging an officer who had engaged him through the window.
The officer was eventually able to break free when Miron switched into reverse, again striking the cruiser. Police say he then drove around the parking lot at a high rate of speed, forcing officers to run out of the way to avoid being hit.
After a brief pursuit ended when Miron’s car struck another vehicle, police say he attacked an officer while being taken into custody.
Three officers were injured during the incident, two of whom required medical treatment at an area hospital. Police said both of them were treated and later released.
